I apologize that I haven't been active lately. Anyhoo, life got busy, and I got caught up in it like a helpless fly in a hungry spider's web.

Just go you know: I'm still drawing. I have about three or four graphite works that I will submit soon enough. Er... maybe within the next couple weeks. Two are about three fourths of the way done, and one's about half. Yeah, I like to procrastinate and not finish things. It's just how I am. ^^

So, anyway... I don't have much to say right now besides that I had a great day today. I got to scream my head off from 1:00 pm until about 3:15.
It was student-teacher day today, and there was a student vs. teacher volleyball tournament. Lets just say that the students didn't win. xP There are a lot of teachers that are in thier early twenties that played volleyball in highschool, and there's our grade's math teacher who is 6'10". Ee-yeah.. he's tall, and a WONDERFUL math teacher.

Ever since I got home, I've been working on this one drawing of a girl smiling. I was wanting it do be this one person (forgot her name), but it's turning out to portray the image of Brittany Spears, well, a younger version at least. ^^ It's about 1/7 of the way done. Maybe less.

I've decided that I'm going to take my time on this one, 'cause I'm really liking how it's turning out. Now, I usually don't do things that are really happy, and show teeth, knowing that I'm not very good at them, but this time... er.. the teel look decent. -nods- Now... to get the shading right on the lips.

And I am really going to get great practice on doing hair for this drawing because a third of the face is covered with it, and I'm going to have the hair fill up the rest of the background once I finish the face.

That's all I have to talk about for now when it comes to this piece.

*puts on some music, picks up a 2H graphite pencil and begins to darken some light areas*
